*4월초에 썼던 글인데 발행하는 걸 까먹어서... 이제서야 올림ㅎㅎ

Pedro Aznar & Ramiro Gallo - Utopia 

작년 말~올해 초 사이 우울한 마음을 달래주었던 Pedro Aznar의 최근 음반.

모든 곡이 다 좋은데 Regalo (선물) 이라는 곡이 특히 좋다. 

*원래는 Regalo(선물) 영상을 올렸었는데, 며칠전 다른 글에 Regalo를 쓰는 바람에, 유튜브 영상은 Utopia로 바꿈.

요즘 Pedro Aznar, Roberta Sa 등등의 남미 뮤지션 라이브 보는 낙으로 산다. 대개 현지시간으로 금요일 밤에 공연을 하기 때문에 나는 토요일 아침에 상쾌한 기분으로 라이브를 감상하며 천천히 잠에서 깨곤 함. 마음에 드는 시차임 :)

아메데 메로(Amedee Mereaux)의 가장 어려운 곡 

진짜 재밌게 봤음. 개꿀잼! 피아노 치시는 분들은 꼭 보세요ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 

이 영상 보면서 내가 직업 피아니스트가 아니라서 얼마나 다행인가 생각했는데, 

다시 생각해보니 이 곡들은 굳이 안쳐도 되는 곡들이라 별 상관ㅎㅎ

메로 에뛰드 24번 브라부라Bravura를 직접 연주하는 영상.

후반부로 가면 보는 것 만으로도 혼이 나가는 것 같다ㅎㅎ

치는 사람은 겁나 어려운데 듣는 사람 귀엔 체르니 30 정도로 들리는 곡 ㅠ.ㅠ

Masayoshi Takanaka / Brasilian Skies - Star Wars Samba

얼마전 LP를 살까 진지하게 고민했던 마사요시 타카나카의 78년 음반. 

영상은 전체 음반을 담고 있는데,

24:19 Star Wars Samba 부터 자동 재생되도록 퍼왔다.

삼바 스타일로 연주한 스타워즈 주제곡 넘 재밌음 ^^

굉장히 고마워하며 즐겨 듣고 있는 유튜브 계정 중 하나 - Harpsichord Vinyl Gallery

돈이 되는 작업도 아닌데 꾸준히 올려주셔서 감사할 따름.

세상은 넓고 모르는 음반은 너무나 많아, 이런 하프시코드 음반도 다 있었다니 하면서 종종 놀란다.

하면서 듣고 있음.

이런 걸 보면 사는 게 후지다고 너무 불평하진 말아야 할텐데... 너무 익숙해져서 가치를 크게 못느낄 뿐이지 좋은 일, 좋은 순간은 많다.

KIRINJI - killer tune kills me feat. YonYon

노래 자체는 키린지 곡 중에 썩 좋아하는 편은 아닌데 왜 이 뮤비를 올렸냐면... 

뮤비 배경 속 집이 너무 좋아서.

저런 큰 코너 창과 비슷한 야경을 가진 아파트가 우리나라에도 있을까? 난 못봤다. 우리나라는 겨울이 추워서 침실 창이 저렇게 크기가 쉽지 않겠지...

아무튼 완전 취향이다.

베쓰 까르발류도 LP 살까 고민하다가 결국 패스. 그냥 유튜브로 듣는 중. 짐을 늘리지 않으려고 정말 노력하고 있다 ㅠㅠ

몇년 뒤에 이 글 보면서 아 그때 살걸 그랬잖아, 하면 어떡하지?

어린 시절 내 첼로 아이돌이었던 요요마. 내가 첼로를 배운 건 이분 탓이 칠할은 된다.

(물론 내가 10대일때도 이미 이분은 중년이었으나 ㅋㅋ)

코로나19사태는 결코 일어나지 말았어야 하는 일이지만, 거장들이 마음에 위안이 되는 곡을 연주해주는 것은 참으로 고맙다.

위로라고 한다면, 조성진의 비창 2악장도 (비창은 워낙 좋아하는 곡이라 누가 어떻게 연주해줘도 위안이 되어줄 것 같지만^^)

위 영상에 딸려 있던 댓글. 시티팝에 대한 글인데, 정말 마음에 드는 글이다. 누군가 내 마음속의 이야기를 구체적인 글로 구현을 해놓았다. 그러고보면 내 머리 속 생각을 구체적인 언어로 만들어 표현하는 작업을, 나는 참 못하는구나. 나는 절대 쓰지 못할 글이다.

이 영상도 영상에 딸린 댓글이 좋아서 퍼왔다. 일단 댓글 먼저 읽으시라. 

The lyrics of this song are a little puzzling even to Portuguese speakers. It seems to me that this is the following:

"Águas de Março" (Waters of March) is a Brazilian expression that refers to the moment when the summer ends, when it begins to rain, it enters the new season.   This song describes a reflection on the moment that is happening in a person's life.

Summer in Brazil occurs between December 21 and March 20. It is a time of parties and important holidays, like Christmas, new Year's Day and Carnival. Period of the school holidays and also to the workers. Time when people can travel to beautiful and pleasant places, go to the beach,  rest, meet interesting people, maybe....fall in love and maybe.... be happy. Time of opportunities to have fun, to smile, to love somebody and stop being sad and alone.

The individual seems to reflect on the promises that summer pointed out to him and he regrets for being alone and sad at the end of summer when the "March waters" arrive.

Throughout the song appear metaphors that repeatedly insist on describing the sentimental perception of that moment of frustration ..

É o fim do caminho/ It's the end of the road. (when the journey ended)

É um resto de toco/ It's a tree stump remnant (that's what's left of me for life)

But everything is treated with a certain humor and irony. After all other seasons and new opportunities will emerge. This attitude of maintaining good humor even in some difficult and challenging situations is valued among Brazilians.

Águas de Março는 내가 제일 좋아하는 브라질 보사노바 곡 중 하나인데, 오래전에 "3월의 물"이라는 제목만 보고 얼핏 나는 이 노래를, 봄이 시작되는 시기, 졸졸 흐르는 시냇물, 긴 겨울이 끝나고 드디어 반짝이기 시작한 햇볕, 살랑이는 바람, 봄이 주는 희망, 생동감, 설레임... 뭐 그런 느낌으로 생각했었다. 아, 이 노래는 딱 봄 그 자체야!라고. 그런데 시간이 지나 다시 생각해보니 브라질의 3월은 여름이 끝나고 가을이 시작되는 시기잖아? 다시 한번 가사를 면밀히 들여다봤더니 내가 생각한 그 느낌이 아니라 정반대였다. 하하하하;;; 게다가 가사를 읽고 읽어도 노래의 정확한 뜻을 알기 어렵다고 생각했는데, 위에 퍼온 댓글에 따르면 원래 포르투갈어를 쓰는 사람들에게도 약간 모호한 느낌이라니 그나마 다행(?)이고, 또 돌고 돌아 결국은 희망이 있는 느낌이라ㅎㅎ 내가 받은 느낌이 아주 틀린 건 아니라 또 마음에 든다^^
